When you think of critical supplies for your company, double-sided mounting tape probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind. But it does have several uses and benefits, especially when purchased from a professional mounting solutions supplier. If your company doesn't use double-sided tapes and currently needs new mounting solutions, two-sided tape is ideal for the following uses, among others.
1. Hanging Safety Signage

If your building doesn't feature proper safety signage in its everyday egress areas and vertical exit enclosures, a fire evacuation could turn it into a danger zone. Most commercial buildings in the U.S. are subject to a version of the International Fire Code (IFC), which sets guidelines for, among other things, safety signage within egress areas. Purchasing the signage and applying it with two-sided tape takes less time and effort than applying it with other mounting methods. It also makes the signage easier to move in the event that your building's egress areas change.
2. Hanging Direction Signage
Does your building contain old direction signs that aren't current with recent changes to offices or other areas? In fact, some suppliers produce custom tapes with special widths and adhesives. In addition to hanging safety signage and objects of similar weight and size, double-sided tapes can be created for hanging bulletin boards, rows of tool hooks, bathroom mirrors, and other large objects that are easier to hang and remove when two-sided tapes are used.
